In June 2004 Clive opened his own law practice in Frome, Somerset. He chose Frome not only because of the new business opportunities it could provide for him but also because he recognised that there was very much a new economic dynamic in the town.

Gotleys has continued to flourish and has just moved in to new modern premises at Bath Street in Frome.

Clive lives in Frome with his partner Linda bringing up five children. When away from work, Clive can often be seen putting one of his motorbikes through its paces on the wide and open roads of Europe.
