Clive was born in London and spent the early part of his life living and working in the capital. Before becoming a lawyer, Clive worked in the highly competitive sector of computer graphics. He worked on major accounts including Cadburys, Jaguar, St Ivel and the BBC.

However, at the age of 29 he decided to follow his real passion, law. He read law at Bristol University and then qualified as a solicitor working initially on high profile crime and other cases. After a spell working at one of the large national law firms where he specialised in civil litigation, Clive decided that he wanted to run his own firm where he could put his innovative ideas on client care into practice.
